Tragic Loss of a Promising Student
Rosemary Isaac, a young woman from Nigeria, is grieving the tragic loss of her sister, Covenant Omolola Isaac, who was a student at the Federal University Lokoja. Omolola lost her life in a devastating car accident in Kogi State.
Alongside Omolola, another student from Kogi State Polytechnic Lokoja, named Abu Taiwo Abimbola, was also killed. The accident occurred when a heavily loaded truck heading towards Abuja lost control and collided with a passenger Keke NAPEP in Lokoja on Friday.
An ID belonging to Omolola, who was studying Geology, was found at the accident site.
Emergency services, specifically officers from the Federal Road Safety Commission, transported the deceased students to Specialist Hospital Lokoja.
In a heartfelt Facebook post, Rosemary expressed her deep sorrow: “Your love was pure and heavenly, your protective nature was divine. It’s hard to fathom a life without you, my big sister.”
“I envisioned us growing old together, reminiscing about our youth and laughing at our past antics, but now you are gone too soon. Life was seemingly just beginning for you.”
“It breaks my heart that you couldn’t achieve the dreams you diligently worked towards, dreams that were so within your reach. I miss and love you dearly, now and forever.”
