He encouraged individuals not to solely focus on accumulating wealth but to also take time to relish it, noting that wealth can often be squandered after one’s passing.
Furthermore, he highlighted the cyclical nature of wealth, emphasizing that the offspring of affluent individuals may find themselves in service to the descendants of formerly impoverished individuals who have achieved prosperity.
He articulated:
“Today the children of yesterday’s rich are serving the children of yesterday’s poor… The offspring of yesterday’s poor are now acquiring the assets that were once owned by the affluent individuals, handed down by their children! It’s the circle of life!
“Interestingly, many of the wealthy individuals did not have the opportunity to fully enjoy the luxuries their hard-earned wealth provided during their lifetimes!
“There’s a saying in our culture, ‘the builder of wealth begets a descendant who sells.’ In conclusion, while you dedicate yourself to building riches, remember to savor the fruits of your labor!
“Most importantly, may your amassed wealth serve humanity positively, rather than acting as a source of anguish and tyranny….
