Concerns Raised Over Politicians in Nigeria
Lola Okunrin, a Nigerian social media user, has voiced his worries regarding the political landscape in Nigeria.
He expressed his beliefs on X, indicating that the country is currently facing serious challenges.
His assertion revolves around the influx of individuals he refers to as “fraud boys” into the political sphere, primarily because of their financial resources. He fears that soon, Nigeria might witness fraudsters taking on significant leadership roles.
In his post, he stated: “Nigeria is in a deep mess that we are failing to acknowledge.
“We are seeing fraudsters with minimal education moving into politics, motivated by their wealth and the need to legitimize their finances.
“Before long, we could have full-fledged Yahoo boys in positions of power, responsible for making and enforcing laws. This prospect worries me.”
