Atiku Abubakar Praises Rivers State Residents
Atiku Abubakar, Nigeria’s former Vice President, has lauded the people of Rivers State for their participation in the local government elections held on Saturday.
In his message on social media, Atiku highlighted that the successful conduct of the elections represents the people’s firm stance against “political oppression and the influence of self-serving elites.”
He also recognized Governor Siminalayi Fubara’s dedication to preserving the integrity of the local elections despite various challenges and provocations.
Atiku remarked, “The conclusion of the local government election in Rivers State has lifted the shadows of intimidation, allowing for a true pursuit of governance in the region.”
