Three individuals were apprehended while driving a Lexus RX 350, registered under YAB 347 CQ, in the Oghareki area of Delta State.

Forces from Sector 1 of the Joint Task Force Operation Delta Safe took three suspects into custody due to their possession of illegal arms.

Major Emmanuel Onoja, the Assistant Director of Army Public Relations, reported on Friday, September 27, 2024, that the identified suspects are Abel Festus, Ramsey Akporoyibo, and Stephen Omah.

They were stopped while driving a Lexus RX 350 in the Oghareki community of Ethiope West local government area, Delta State.

The operation uncovered a significant haul of weapons, which included five pump-action rifles, a Dane gun, a battle axe, and 51 cartridges.

The suspects are currently in custody, facing comprehensive questioning and investigation, according to the statement.
