A man named Delo, aged 30, tragically lost his life in Elewuro, located in the Ondo West Local Government Area of Ondo State.
His body was discovered in his residence on the evening of Wednesday, October 16, 2024.
Reports suggest that Delo was alone in his room at the time of the incident, and the details about how he died are still unclear.
The situation became concerning when his brother repeatedly knocked at Delo’s door without any answer.
Worried neighbors decided to take a look, and they were horrified to find him lying unresponsive on his bed.
The police from the Fagun division were called to the scene, and they forced the door open to find Delo with visible bruises on his face, neck, and other body parts.
Delo’s brother was taken into custody after police found Delo’s phone in his possession before they entered the room.
Officers later transported Delo’s body to the morgue for examination.
The shocking news of his death has left his family and community in distress and mourning.
A police representative has stated that an investigation is underway, with personnel dispatched quickly to secure the area, recover the body, and transfer the suspect to the State CID in Akure for further inquiry.
