Popular Nigerian comedian, Dami Olatunde known as Aphrican Ace, recently shared the heartbreaking news of the loss of his pre-term baby boy, Zion.
Originally expected to be born in October, Zion arrived prematurely on July 2, 26 weeks earlier than anticipated.
Aphrican Ace and his wife decided to go ahead with the planned baby shower on July 27, despite Zion being in intensive care. However, the next day, their baby boy developed a bacterial infection which tragically led to his passing.
In a heartfelt post on Instagram, the comedian expressed his emotions and recounted the challenging journey with Zion.
Despite the doctors’ efforts and their hopefulness, Zion passed away in the early hours of August 1 in the presence of his grieving parents.
The comedian shared his deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will, acknowledging the greater purpose behind their loss.
He concluded with a poignant message, expressing love and longing for their departed son, Zion.
