Emmanuel Uduaghan
Former Delta State Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan has switched political allegiance from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Uduaghan’s rejoining of the APC took place on Wednesday at his residence in Warri. This move comes after PDP South South Chairman, Emma Ogidi, suggested that politicians transitioning to APC would eventually come back, as noted with Uduaghan’s previous return.
During the welcoming event, Uduaghan was joined by Tenumah, Ino, and other leaders, who expressed their support for him.
He received a new APC membership card labeled: ‘Delta WRN//023/32001’ and commended the party’s leaders for their support and respect.
Uduaghan also pledged to collaborate with party members to promote progress in Delta State.
According to reports from The Nation, his daughter, Orode Uduaghan, who serves as the Delta State Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs, also obtained her APC membership card.
Tenumah encouraged the new members to actively participate in the Renewed Hope Agenda initiated by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and align with Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s objectives.
She assured Uduaghan and the newcomers of the party’s backing and teamwork.
