Student Expelled from UNIZIK Following Assault on Lecturer

Chiamaka Precious Goddy-Mbakwe has been dismissed from Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) after attacking a lecturer in connection with a TikTok video.

The expulsion was confirmed in a statement released on Friday by the Acting Registrar, Victor Modebelu.

Modebelu noted that the Acting Vice-Chancellor received findings from the Student Disciplinary Committee regarding the incident involving the lecturer from the Theater and Film Studies Department.

The statement indicated that Chiamaka was deemed guilty of serious misconduct and breached the regulations set by the Student Disciplinary Committee, specifically Regulation 4.

“The Acting Vice-Chancellor, therefore, on behalf of the University Senate, has endorsed the Committee’s recommendation for your expulsion, and you are hereby expelled from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka,” it stated.
