Why I love Burna Boy – Shakira

During an interview with Rolling Stone, renowned singer Shakira openly expressed her affection for Nigerian artist Damini Ogulu, also known as Burna Boy.

In addition to Burna Boy, Shakira also revealed her admiration for South African Grammy winner Tyla, showcasing her diverse taste in music.

Shakira described her preference for music with an Afrobeats rhythm, highlighting her genuine appreciation for the genre.

While she acknowledged her appreciation for Tyla, Shakira placed special emphasis on her deep fondness for Burna Boy.

Shakira said:

“If I could explain my taste in music in three words, I would say eclectic, honest and real. I love anything Afrobeats. I like Tyla, I like Burna Boy, anything Afrobeats. But I love Burna so much.”
