The ex-boyfriend of Nollywood actress Toyin Aimakhu and boss of Ebony Films Seun Egbegbe has been charged to court over phone theft. This is contrary reports going round since Tuesday, November 22, 2016, when he was caught at Computer Village, Ikeja that he was released and the matter has been resolved amicably.

It was discovered that the movie marketer has been in police custody since he was caught. Egbegbe was charged to Magistrate Court, Ikeja, Lagos after spending two days at the Area F Police station, Ikeja.
Lagos State Police PRO, Dolapo Badmus, says Seun has been charged to court following discreet Police Investigations.
“After discreet Police Investigation and two nights in custody, Seun Egbegbe has been charged to court for stealing.”
After an initial hearing, Egbegbe has been granted bail by the court and the case adjourned till February 2017.

Egbegbe was arrested at Computer village, Ikeja for allegedly stealing 9 iPhones. According to reports, he attempted to escape from the shop with the phones, allegedly telling the salesgirl that he was coming back. He left, crossed the road and entered into a waiting cab.
The salesgirl, who claimed she was hypnotised, said she came back to her senses and raised an alarm. Some traders at the market chased and caught up with him and beat him up before finally handing him over to the police.
But one might not know if actually he stole those phones or it was just a set up. Who knows?
