The President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has made new appointments to the Board of the Nigerian Consumer Credit Corporation CREDICORP.

The announcement was made by Ajuri Ngelale, the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity.

These appointments aim to facilitate the expansion of consumer credit availability to the Nigerian populace.

Among the appointments are Otunba Aderemi Abdul as the Chairman of the nine-member board and Engr. Uzoma Nwagba as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer.

Additional appointments include Mrs. Aisha Abdullahi as the Executive Director (Credit, Risk & Portfolio)/CRO, Ms. Olanike Kolawole as the Executive Director (Operations)/COO, Dr. Armstrong Ume Takang as a Non-Executive Director (MOFI Nominee), Dr. Peter Iwegbu as a Non-Executive Director (NIMC Nominee), Mr. Mohammed Nasiru Abbas as a Non-Executive Director (FMITI Nominee), Mr. Marvin Nadah as a Non-Executive Director (FCCPC Nominee), and a Federal Ministry of Finance (FMF) Representative as a Non-Executive Director (FMF).

The newly appointed board members are expected to leverage their experience, skills, and commitment to fulfill CREDICORP’s mission of enhancing consumer credit accessibility for millions of Nigerians.
