Renowned Nigerian lawyer and activist, Deji Adeyanju, has responded to a video depicting police officers conducting a show of strength one day before the #endbadgovernance protest in the Lekki region of Lagos state.
The officers, in significant numbers, paraded through the streets chanting. Reflecting on the video, Deji, a key organizer of the protest, remarked, ”This is Lekki, Lagos right now. Bandits in Zamfara, Katsina, and Kaduna will just be laughing.’
