His album, entitled ‘Morayo,’ has been generating buzz among fans for weeks, and the long-awaited release date has now been unveiled.
Wizkid has been building anticipation around this project for quite some time, teasing its release since the beginning of the year.
There were certain stipulations attached to the album, with Wizkid cautioning fans not to expect the old ‘Pakurumo Wizkid’ as his musical style has evolved.
He also made it clear that he should not be pigeonholed into the Afrobeat genre, asserting his position as an artist transcending such categorizations.
