In a recent cleanup effort by the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps, 51 street traders and individuals causing disturbances were apprehended on Tuesday night.
Tokunbo Wahab shared details about this operation in a Wednesday statement, explaining that it took place on Mosley Street, Alexander Street, and parts of Ikoyi to ensure compliance with local laws.
He stated, “The operation conducted last night in Mosley Street, Alexander Street, Ikoyi, and surrounding areas resulted in 51 arrests of street traders and miscreants.”
“They will face legal proceedings following the state’s laws.”

In November, it was reported that the Lagos State Environmental Taskforce arrested 53 individuals for illicit drug-related activities during a covert operation in the Alimosho Local Government Area.
