Raid in Ikoyi: 51 Street Vendors and Criminals Detained by LAGESC (Watch the Footage)

This information was revealed on Wednesday by Tokunbo Wahab, the Commissioner for the Ministry of Environment and Water Resources.

 

In a recent cleanup effort by the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps, 51 street traders and individuals causing disturbances were apprehended on Tuesday night.

Tokunbo Wahab shared details about this operation in a Wednesday statement, explaining that it took place on Mosley Street, Alexander Street, and parts of Ikoyi to ensure compliance with local laws.
He stated, “The operation conducted last night in Mosley Street, Alexander Street, Ikoyi, and surrounding areas resulted in 51 arrests of street traders and miscreants.”

“They will face legal proceedings following the state’s laws.”

During the clearance operation last night at Mosley Street, Alexander Street, Ikoyi and environ, 51 street traders and miscreants were arrested.
