CNTraveller Unveils Stunning Global Destinations
On December 26, a prestigious American travel magazine published a list showcasing 71 stunning locations from around the globe. Notably, Hoa Binh stands out as the only Vietnamese site to receive recognition this year.
Located in northern Vietnam, Hoa Binh is famed for its vast rice paddies and the rich culture of its ethnic communities, such as the H’Mong, Muong, and Dao, as noted by the magazine.
Criteria for selection included not just breathtaking landscapes but also cultural and historical value, warm hospitality from locals, a variety of culinary options, and memorable visitor activities.
During the autumn months of September and October, Mai Chau District in Hoa Binh particularly enchants tourists with its golden rice fields that create a mesmerizing landscape.
The CNTraveller team clarified that the destinations featured this year are listed without any specific ranking.
In addition to Hoa Binh, the list also highlights several other notable Asian locales such as Raja Ampat and Bali in Indonesia, Hong Kong, Zhangye Danxia Geopark in China, Bayon Temple in Cambodia, Jodhpur in India, as well as Japan’s iconic Mount Fuji, Kyoto, and Arashiyama Bamboo Forest.
