Since the last media update about Angelina Jolie several months ago, she has been in a much more settled place. Following a lengthy divorce process with Brad Pitt that lasted eight years, she can now concentrate on her career and prioritize her children, who inspire her the most.
Recently, Angelina made an appearance at the Santa Barbara Film Festival, where she discussed upcoming projects and shared insight about her 18-year-old daughter, Shiloh. Additionally, she spoke about her relationship with her children and their future aspirations.
Angelina Jolie discusses Shiloh’s disinterest in fame: “She despises it”
Angelina shared insights about her children, noting that they particularly dislike the concept of celebrity life, especially Shiloh, who has a strong aversion to it. “Really my kids don’t like anything to do with being a celebrity,” she remarked.
She further elaborated on Shiloh’s reluctance to enter the spotlight: “She is extremely reserved […] It’s not normal,” highlighting that her children, as she mentioned previously, are quite introverted.
“They are particularly shy and prefer to keep their lives private. It’s not something I influenced; I’ve always appreciated creativity and the arts, but they’re just not interested,” she continued. However, while they may not want to be in the limelight, they do enjoy creative pursuits: “Some dance, some paint, some love the theater, but none of them are eager to appear on screen,” she concluded.
