BUZZ: America Ferrera admits her guilty pleasure is ‘not showering for a few days’

America Ferrera is spilling a dirty little secret about her hygiene routine.

When asked about her guilty pleasure in a Vanity Fair video published Wednesday, the “Barbie” actress admitted that she enjoys taking breaks from washing up.

“I’m going to really regret saying this,” Ferrera, 39, said, before confessing, “It’s not showering for a few days.”

She was immediately met with shock from co-stars Margot Robbie, Issa Rae and Kate McKinnon and director Greta Gerwig, as the group tested their knowledge of each other.

“What! I would never have expected that,” Robbie said, while Rae turned her head away in disapproval.

Before the “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” star revealed the surprising answer, her “Barbie” castmates had attempted to guess what her guilty pleasure was.

“Cookie dough,” McKinnon, 39, blurted out.

“No, it’s not food related,” Gerwig, also 39, replied. “Oh, I bet a massage or something. Self-care? Is that a guilty pleasure or the same thing?”

Robbie, 33, agreed with the director before McKinnon suggested, “Or looking at Redfin and fantasizing about other lives.”

To which Ferrera responded, “No, I don’t feel guilty about any of those things.”

Rae, 38, chimed in to ask if her guilty pleasure was being away from her kids moments before Ferrera dropped the revelation.

But the “Cesar Chavez” actress isn’t the only celebrity who has admitted to skipping a shower or two.

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis made headlines back in July 2021 when they revealed that they only bathe their kids when they “see dirt on them.”

“When I had children, I also didn’t wash them every day,” Kunis, 39, said on the “Armchair Expert” podcast with Dax Shepard. “I wasn’t that parent that bathed my newborns — ever.”

“If you can see the dirt on them, clean them. Otherwise, there’s no point,” Kutcher, 45, chimed in.

A month later, Shepard’s wife, Kristen Bell, agreed with the sentiment, sharing that the couple only bathes their two daughters when they start to smell.

“I’m a big fan of waiting for the stink,” Bell, 43, said on “The View.”

“Once you catch a whiff, that’s biology’s way of letting you know you need to clean it up.”

Jake Gyllenhaal also wasn’t shy to admit he prefers minimal shower time.

Back in August 2021, the “Spider-Man: Far From Home” star told Vanity Fair he finds “bathing to be less necessary, at times.”

“I do believe, because Elvis Costello is wonderful, that good manners and bad breath get you nowhere. So I do that,” the actor, 42, explained.

“But I do also think that there’s a whole world of not bathing that is also really helpful for skin maintenance, and we naturally clean ourselves.”
