BUZZ: Doja Cat rips supporters for ‘creepy’ fan accounts, ‘Kittenz’ nickname: ‘Get a job’

She’s a bitch, she’s a boss.

Doja Cat is calling out some of her supporters for seemingly coining the unofficial nickname for her loyal fanbase without her consent.

“My fans don’t get to name themselves s—t,” the “Boss Bitch” singer declared in a series of since-deleted tweets posted over the weekend.

“If you call yourself a ‘Kitten’ or f—king ‘Kittenz’ that means you need to get off your phone and get a job and help your parents with the house.”

One fan quickly questioned the rapper’s outlandish remarks, tweeting in response, “??? only using the name YOU gave your fans.”

Fans didn’t take Doja’s reaction too well, calling out the “Attention” singer for her sharp tongue.

The rapper, known for her internet trolling, even suggested fans “delete” accounts that reference her in any way.

“What should i change my name to since you don’t like the term kitten,” one fan asked the “Say So” singer on Twitter.

“Just delete the entire account and rethink everything it’s never too late,” Doja replied.

Doja’s harsh approach to her fanbase has left some questioning their loyalty to the singer, with some turning their backs on her altogether.

“Doja Cat slandering her fans is crazy tbh cos [sic] I don’t understand why you would attack your fans for just giving themselves a name just like every other fanbase out there,” one fan tweeted, adding, “I know what signs like these mean.”

Another user, whose social media handle included “ex kitten” in the title, wrote, “Me 🤝 making ‘I use[d] to be a doja cat fan’ my whole personality now.”

“Doja being mean to her fans for bc [sic] of the word kitten like her name isn’t doja CAT and she wasn’t dressed as a cat and meowed her way through an entire interview a few months ago oh she has lost her mind,” a third wrote, referencing the feline look Doja rocked at the 2023 Met Gala.

“Mind you, she’s being a bitch to the people that practically pay her bills.”

It’s unclear what initially sparked the outburst from the performer – and why she decided to ultimately delete the harsh tweets.

Regardless, it will be interesting to see whether the roasting will impact Doja’s upcoming nationwide tour, set to kick off in San Francisco this October, in any way.

Reps for Doja did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
