BUZZ: Morgan Wallen Provides Health Update After Sudden Concert Cancellation

Morgan Wallen made a triumphant return to the stage Thursday after sharing an update with fans on social media. Last week, the country crooner was forced to cancel his Mississippi show at the eleventh hour after losing his voice. Taking to his Instagram Story, Wallen apologized to fans again, saying he was back on the road despite not feeling “100%” just yet.

“What’s up, everybody? I just wanted to let you know I am in Jacksonville, we are going to play a show tonight — and all weekend. I wouldn’t say I’m 100% but I’m doing a lot better,” the 29-year-old said in a video. He also expressed his regret for having to cancel the Oxford show, saying they were close to rescheduling it.

Wallen faced backlash from attendees on social media after canceling the show. He explained himself amid the backlash, writing that he had “spent the day resting up, talking to [his] doctor and working through [his] vocal exercises” before ultimately realizing he was still “unable to sing.” He was subsequently sued by a fan for the disappointment.

Just days prior, the “Heartless” crooner suffered a pretty hard tumble onstage during his Louisville gig. In a TikTok video shared by a fan just after the show, Wallen fell due to thick fog covering the bottom of the stage, which made it hard for him to see where he was stepping. Despite the mishap, Wallen managed to bounce back up without missing a beat and continued his performance.
