The “Botched” star made a virtual appearance on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” to detail his recent health scare.
“I had symptoms of a stroke due to an anatomical defect in my heart,” he explained.
“I’m gonna try to say this without crying,” Terry, 64, continued before starting to cry and covering his face with his hands.
“The only reason I’m standing here today and not six feet under is my best friend and my beloved wife’s insistence that I go to the emergency room and get checked out,” the plastic surgeon gushed as Heather, 54, looked on with tears in her eyes.
“She saved my life, so that’s just the way it goes.”
The “Real Housewives of Orange County” star jokingly told her husband not to “do this” to her since she has “a scheduled breakdown on Sept. 8.”
Terry, however, continued, reiterating that he would have been in danger had he flown to New York to film the “WWHL” segment live with Heather.
“I would have gone on a plane to come out to see you, Andy, and I would have had more blood clots from that flight,” he explained. “I definitely would have not survived.”
The incident took place last week when the couple were dining at The Ivy in Los Angeles with son Nick.
After Terry began “slurring his speech” for “less than a minute,” Heather “pissed” off the E! personality by insisting that their 19-year-old call 911.
She also pushed her partner to go to the hospital and contacted his friends to convince him to do the same, which “embarrassed” the “Bridalplasty” alum.
Terry suffered from a transient ischemic attack (TIA), with doctors also learning that he had a hole between the left and right chambers of the heart.

As for Terry, the “Good Work” alum is doing “great” and “back 100 percent with no impairments,” a source told Page Six earlier Wednesday.
“He’s being completely transparent because he’s a doctor and he’s dedicated his life to helping other people and shifted his entire practice to helping people,” the insider added.
