Hailey Bieber continues to capture the spotlight, once again becoming the focus of magazine covers and headlines.
In an interview with Vogue for their June issue, the 28-year-old model discussed various elements of her life, including her journey into motherhood.
Bieber candidly shared her struggles with childbirth, noting how challenging it was to welcome Jack Blues into the world on August 26, 2024. “Giving birth was my toughest experience yet,” she stated.
After 39 weeks of pregnancy, she started leaking amniotic fluid and was induced as soon as she arrived at the hospital.
“It was quite a process. They broke my water, and then I was in labor for several hours, without any pain relief or epidural,” the founder of Rhodes explained.
Hailey endured 18 hours of labor, and afterward, faced a postpartum hemorrhage. This severe condition was alarming for her, though she found comfort knowing her doctor was by her side:
I have complete faith in my doctor, which gave me a sense of peace knowing she would take care of me. Despite bleeding heavily, the fear of complications did cross my mind.
Challenges continued
Once her health was stabilized, the family settled into their home, and she confronted the reality of her postpartum phase. Hailey described this period as “the most sensitive time” of her life, compounded by rumors regarding her marriage struggles. “It truly is a mental challenge,” she reflected.
Yet, the arrival of Jack Blues instilled a newfound bravery in her. “I used to avoid confrontation. It was hard for me to express discomfort or when people overstepped boundaries,” she shared. “Now, I feel more empowered to assert myself about what works for me,” Hailey mentioned, expressing how she’s addressed her critics.
Justin supports his wife and acknowledges his misstep
Justin Bieber took to his Instagram to showcase photos of Hailey from the Vogue shoot, adding a surprising anecdote: “This reminds me of a massive argument we had,” he began.
“I once told Hailey she would never land a Vogue cover. I know, it was harsh. I felt disrespected at the moment and thought I needed to retaliate,” Justin admitted.
“As we grow older, we realize that seeking revenge does nothing productive. What we genuinely want is closeness and connection,” Hailey’s husband reflected.
He concluded with, “So babe, I know I was wrong about you not getting a Vogue cover, and I’m genuinely sorry.”
This candid admission astonished many of his followers, prompting confused reactions like, “This caption is wild,” “Just a simple ‘congrats to my wife’ would have sufficed,” and “Love you, Justin, but what were you thinking?” questioned others.
Shortly after, he removed the post and opted to share just two photos from the shoot with four emojis: Shrugging Man, Finger Pointing At You, Hands Forming A Heart, and a Face Holding Back Tears.
Despite the heartfelt message, it seems speculation about their marital issues may continue to grow. Will Hailey respond to these rumors?
