Kevin Costner Speaks Out: His Heartbreak Over Jewel’s Departure and Stinging Remarks on Her Struggles

Kevin Costner can't stand that Jewel left him and calls the singer a drunk: 'Pathetic'

Kevin Costner appears to be yearning to rekindle his romance with Jewel, as reports indicate he has been persistently reaching out to her.

The pair had a brief relationship earlier this year, which Jewel chose to end.

This situation is troubling for the Yellowstone actor, who is eager to restore his relationship with Jewel and is making considerable efforts towards that goal.

According to an insider, “He had hoped to build a future with her, but his attempts seem futile. His friends think it’s sad, yet after a drink or two, he believes he can win her back.”

“While it doesn’t happen every single night, he often finds himself making late-night calls. He isn’t used to being turned away, especially after Jewel’s departure hurting his morale, particularly after his divorce,” the source added, as reported by RadarOnline.com.

Struggles in Costner’s personal life

Costner’s troubles have compounded since his ex-wife, Christine Baumgartner, filed for divorce in May 2023 after 18 years together.

To make matters worse, she has started seeing one of his former friends, Josh Connor.

Additionally, his latest project, ‘Horizon’, which he financed himself, did not perform well.

An insider remarked, “In the past, all Kevin had to do was enter a room to attract attention. Many women find him appealing, including Sharon Stone, but he is fixated on Jewel, the one he can’t seem to be with, which is proving to be incredibly frustrating for him.”

“It’s understandable that he feels low and might attempt to reach out to Jewel during tough nights with a drink in hand, but this behavior is not beneficial for him.”
