Some fans of Taylor Swift were surprised by a performance from NFL star Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, during one of her Eras Tour shows at Wembley.
Now back in the United States, Kelce has shared amusing details about his impromptu entertainment debut.
Kelce discussed the experience on the New Heights podcast he hosts with his brother Jason, a former Philadelphia Eagles player.
Reflecting on the moment on stage, Kelce said, “I was up there with three professionals. You can do no wrong with Taylor on stage. [I kept telling myself], ‘Do not drop the baby. Hold onto the baby.’

He also revealed how Taylor Swift orchestrated his appearance, ensuring it was tasteful and fitting.
“I was like, ‘How fun would it be if I just rolled out on one of the bikes during the “1989” era?'” he remembered. “She started laughing and was like ‘Would you seriously be up for doing something like that?’
“I was like, ‘What? I would love to do that. Are you kidding me? I’ve seen the show enough. Might as well put me to work here,'” Travis recounted. “She found the perfect part of the show to put me in. … It was, like, the safest option.
“It was awesome and I didn’t disappoint Taylor so that’s all that really matters. that was my number one goal, do not mess this up and do not drop Taylor.”
