President Tamas and his delegation received a warm welcome at Noi Bai International Airport from Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son, the Vietnamese Ambassador to Hungary Bui Le Thai, and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Anh Tuan.
This visit coincides with the 75th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Hungary (February 3, 1950 – 2025). According to Ambassador Thai, President Tamas’ trip is a crucial development that paves the way for enhanced collaboration within the Vietnam–Hungary Comprehensive Partnership.
The visit highlights the commitment of the leaders from both countries to strengthen the comprehensive partnership formed in 2018, further fostering mutual understanding, Ambassador Thai noted.
The Hungarian Ambassador to Vietnam, Tibor Baloghdi, underscored that the diplomatic bond between Vietnam and Hungary is grounded in mutual respect, collaboration, and long-established connections. Since their diplomatic relationship began on February 3, 1950, Hungary has continuously backed Vietnam in various sectors, evolving into significant partners.
