My life has been full of ups and downs and also getting back to the Lord after leaving his side for a while.
I grew up in Costa Rica in a Christian home. We were a family with a lot of faith and I accepted the lord at a very young age. I had a happy childhood and we went to church every week. I learned verses every week and had a strong connection to the Lord.
One of the bible first that I learned and that would help me through my life was:
Proverbs 3 5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart; and do not depend on your understanding. Seek Will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.
I met my husband at my first job. We were very young and did not get engaged until 10 years later we always knew we were meant to be together.
We wanted to have babies right away and went to the doctor to see if everything was ok. I knew I suffered from polycystic ovaries and wanted to make sure we could have a baby. The doctor told me that because of my condition, it was going to be very difficult to get pregnant. He said I needed to take medication and treat my condition and it would probably take a few years for us to get pregnant if we could even get pregnant.
We were very sad but something inside me told me I could get pregnant. We went home and decided to have faith and pray.
I would go for walks and pray over my belly that I wanted to have a baby. I always remembered the verses I learned as a little girl:
Mark 11:24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
So we prayed and we believed. One month later we were pregnant.
At this time I was starting to study Yoga and practiced it throughout my entire pregnancy, I also studied hypnotherapy and meditation.
I practiced it throughout my entire pregnancy and after. Three years later I was pregnant again. I started studying the law of attraction and manifestation and envisioned having a baby girl, and I did.
