The Vietnamese Prime Minister has arrived in New Delhi for a state visit, responding to an invitation from Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, scheduled from July 30 to August 1.
The Prime Minister is accompanied by a delegation including various ministers and senior officials from Vietnam.
Upon arrival at Palam Airport, the Vietnamese delegation was welcomed by Indian officials and Vietnamese embassy representatives.
During the visit, the Prime Minister will engage with major Indian business leaders, attend the Vietnam-India Business Forum, and partake in significant events.
Key agenda items include laying a wreath at the statue of President Ho Chi Minh, inaugurating the new Vietnamese Embassy premises, and meeting with the Vietnamese community in India.
An official welcome ceremony and bilateral talks with Indian Prime Minister Modi are scheduled for August 1.
Meetings with the President and other prominent Indian officials, along with an address at the Indian Council of World Affairs, are planned for the second day of the visit.
The visit signifies the strong ties between Vietnam and India, focusing on enhancing strategic partnership and exploring new avenues of cooperation.
Discussions will broaden cooperation in various sectors including electronics, telecommunications, biotechnology, and renewable energy.
