A Nigerian Catholic priest named Rev. Fr. Angelo Chidi Unegbu recently recounted the tale of a man who accused his wife of infidelity following a dream in which he saw her balancing a mattress on her head.
The priest revealed in a Facebook update on January 9 that the man’s mother interpreted this dream as a sign of his wife’s unfaithfulness.
According to the priest, this accusation led to frequent arguments and turmoil within the marriage, which eventually ended in divorce.
He also pointed out that marriages formed based on dreams, revelations, or prophecies often face difficulties.
“A young man had a dream about his new wife carrying a mattress. When she shared this with him, his mother suggested it indicated infidelity,” he stated.
“The husband demanded that his wife confess her supposed wrongdoing.
Despite her denial, the situation escalated into frequent conflicts.
Ultimately, they have divorced.
This is a story I have observed for over a decade. It is genuine.
