The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has cautioned the public against baseless rumors claiming the passing of Nollywood icon, Olu Jacobs.
Emphasizing the vitality of Jacobs, AGN’s representative, Kate Henshaw, urged those responsible for such assertions to cease their dissemination.
Expressing her dismay on X, Henshaw questioned the continuous false reports declaring Olu Jacobs deceased by Nigerians every year.
Henshaw stated: “The consistent posting of RIP messages about a living individual year after year is deeply disturbing, Tbh.
“Persistently subjecting this revered man and his family to such false claims is entirely inappropriate. Stop this behavior, for the sake of decency. UNCLE OLU JACOBS is ALIVE.”
