APC Chieftain Warns Against Repeat of Unexpected Loss in Last Election

Recently, Biodun Ajiboye, a Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC), spoke on Arise Television about the upcoming Gubernatorial Elections. He stated that the APC is doing its best to avoid a repeat of what happened in the last Presidential Election, when Peter Obi won in Lagos State. Ajiboye went on to emphasize the significance of Labour Party winning in Lagos State, saying that it caught them off guard and that they are now more prepared to prevent a similar outcome. He said, “We were caught unaware to a large extend, it was an insurgence upon our political stability and fortress. Labour Party actually came without us expecting, now that they have done it, we are now very much awake and we now know what to do to avoid the repeatation of such calamity.” His comments sparked a lot of reactions from the public.
