Daniella Peters, a former Big Brother Naija housemate, shared her harrowing experience of a recent kidnap attempt in Abuja on her Instagram.
She expressed her gratitude for the quick response from the public after she sought help following the incident last Friday.
During a cab ride, Daniella grew suspicious of the driver’s actions, leading her to request a stop which he declined. Without hesitation, she jumped out of the moving vehicle, sustaining injuries in the process.
The driver confessed to the authorities, and Daniella assured everyone of her safety and ongoing recovery.
She reassured her followers, saying, “Hello everyone, I am making this video to address my last post concerning near kidnapping experience that I encountered last week Friday. I want to thank everyone who has shown concern by commenting, calling and tagging the necessary organisations to ensure that this matter was handled urgently.
“I have now been to the police station and back to the hospital. I appreciate the police for their thorough handling of this matter. The cab driver has admitted to everything I reported.
“I’m currently in a safe place and recovering. Thank you all, and stay safe.”
