Yhemolee Shares Insights on His Wife’s Pregnancy
Nigerian social media figure Yhemolee recently addressed followers who inquired about his wife’s pregnancy experience, specifically regarding her morning sickness and whether it annoyed him.
The couple joyfully welcomed their first child, sharing touching moments from the pregnancy through personal videos.
In his responses, Yhemolee made it clear he does not feel irritated by his wife’s pregnancy challenges. He stressed that a supportive partner should always offer compassion and never feel frustrated with their pregnant partner’s difficulties.
Recognizing the tough times, he underscored the importance of kindness, emotional backing, and empathy throughout the pregnancy journey.
Yhemolee humorously recounted times when his wife would get upset with him, particularly regarding his outfit choices. He pondered that her frustration stemmed from her missing him and decided to be more attentive to her needs.
His honest observations have struck a chord with many, giving a glimpse into the nurturing dynamics of a couple during pregnancy.
He shared: “Honestly, being there for them is the least we can do. They tend to be cranky and irritable during this time. It wasn’t a walk in the park for me either, especially when she was away. She got mad about little things, especially when I would dress up to go out.”
“If she saw a video of me at a club, she’d comment about how she was home while I was out having fun in Lagos. One day I snapped, asking, ‘Should I just stay home and do nothing?’
“You won’t always get it right, but aim to be present at least 80% of the time! In short, be KIND.
“The person who was getting upset with me was the same one I’d see at the airport, ready to give birth and still smiling. I understood she simply missed me. So it’s vital to be there for them both emotionally and physically. Bless.”
“Irritation? For something I contributed to? I don’t believe any sensible man would feel that way.”
