How One of Bayelsa State’s Best Musicians, Jovin Was Beaten By SARS Operatives in Yenagoa

Jovin Beaten By SARS Police

It was a cool day in Yenagoa yesterday as Idyl Diongoli who’s currently in the ongoing The Voice Nigeria Season 2 was being helped to get votes through state rally by his companions and colleagues in Bayelsa State’s Entertainment Industry, not until something terrible happened.

As a part of this, one of Bayelsa’s finest artists, Jovin who has released mainstream melodies like Oguaja with a remix feature of Jah Wonder and Faze on another was likewise engaged with the rally to help his kindred Bayelsan and artist.

Along these lines after a bit of exploring, Jovin went for a meeting and on their route returning, he was held by SARS operatives in the state. Sufficiently stunning, these policemen couldn’t remember him extremely well, in this manner asking annoying questions like which state he’s from, he’s local government and hometown, and furthermore requested ID.

To try and demonstrate his personality, he had to show them the music video of his hit song yet they didn’t think about anything as they don’t have the foggiest idea. Not until the point when he inquired as to whether it was Timaya, would they have treated him that way? Just as he told me, only that was what he said then the following thing he felt was slaps on his cheeks and this was done in broad daylight, along these lines causing public disgrace.

To me, what I feel is that Bayelsa State has lost it all with regards to diversion for SARS agents not to know cutting-edge performers who has become famous in the state. Indeed, even with the reality at which the police can’t locate the ideal people to persecute is truly an issue.

There are people in the streets, cultists and armed criminals doing unlawful things in the State and beyond, yet they barely get them. Why does it have to be somebody doing music and not only that, but rather somebody who’s music has made even the Governor move. Jovin is perceived by even the previous President of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan and practically everybody in Bayelsa State knows about his music as observed on TV shows and occasions.

The case is being worked upon and I ask they address this issue extremely well on the grounds that even me that is presently in Lagos knows who he used to be and when I saw the photo of his face I really wanted to pen this down similarly as he let me know, and this is my opinion.

It’s truly a pity, Bayelsa State doesn’t recognise their hardworking youths!
