Ikpeazu Dismisses Aides from Office

Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State has dismissed a number of his political appointees. On Thursday, March 30, Chris Ezem, the Secretary to the State Government, made the announcement. The individuals affected include special assistants, senior special assistants, special advisers, and technical advisers. Ezem also added that the Governor has ordered the State Accountant General to make sure that all appointees receive their March 2023 stipends immediately. He expressed gratitude to the dismissed appointees for their services to the state and wished them luck in their future endeavors.
