The Lagos State Police Command has apprehended Annie Ofili for allegedly stabbing her friend, Glory Okon, to death at her residence in Greenville Estate, Badore, Ajah. Reports indicate that an argument between the two friends had escalated into a physical altercation, during which Ofili grabbed a knife from the kitchen and stabbed Okon in the neck and back. Upon hearing the commotion, the landlord and neighbours forced open the door to find Ofili on top of Okon with a knife. Okon was rushed to the hospital at CMS, Lagos Island, but was pronounced dead by a doctor on duty. The suspect was arrested and taken to the Ajah Police Station for investigation. The corpse was then transported to Mainland General Hospital mortuary in Yaba for autopsy and preservation. Ofili will be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department in Panti, Yaba for further inquiry.
