A well-known palace chief of Olomu Kingdom, Taleb Tebite, passed away after a brief illness that led to his hospitalization.

Chief Olorogun Taleb Tebite, who held the position of Executive Director of Projects at DESOPADEC, sadly passed away in a hospital in Lagos on Monday night.

Tebite, a respected figure within the Olomu Kingdom, fell ill and was swiftly taken to a hospital where he later succumbed.

Until his demise, Tebite played a pivotal role as a leader in the Delta State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party.

Reports indicate that he had been unwell for approximately a month before his passing.



“He was a well-regarded individual. He had been battling illness for about a month and had even sought treatment overseas. It’s tragic to learn of his passing today,” a source within the commission revealed.
