On May 8, 2025, a successful operation was carried out based on reliable intelligence, leading to the identification of the suspects’ location.

Troops from Operation Safe Haven (OPSH) have arrested three alleged gunrunners and confiscated weapons during an operation in Golgokofa village, situated in the Godogodo Chiefdom of Jema’a Local Government Area, Kaduna State.

The operation stemmed from credible intelligence that pinpointed the location of the suspects.

The individuals taken into custody are Adamu Musa, 65; Lukman Isah, 35; and Umar Jammo, 25.

Seized items include one AK-47 rifle, a makeshift gun, an AK-47 magazine, a 7.62mm (Special) ammunition round, and three motorcycles.

The suspects are presently under investigation and providing valuable information to assist in further operations aimed at catching other members of their criminal network and retrieving more weapons.
