Plateau Police Nab Suspect in Vehicle Theft Case

Police Arrest Man For Stealing Vehicle In Plateau (via Primetweets)

Authorities have taken a man named Kabiru Mohammed into custody in relation to the alleged theft of a Toyota Hiace bus in Jos, Plateau State.

DSP Alfred Alabo, the police spokesperson, provided details about the incident in a statement released on Thursday, September 19, 2024.

The vehicle was reported missing by its owner on September 16.

“After the report of the theft was made, our dedicated officers from the Bukuru Division quickly began stop and search operations in the vicinity,” the statement explained.

“As a result, the stolen bus was found in the possession of Kabiru Mohammed, a male from Sabon Gari Narabi Toro Local Government Area in Bauchi State, around 12:45 AM on September 18, 2024.”

“The suspect is currently being interrogated and is providing valuable information that may assist in recovering more stolen items.”

“Once our investigation is complete, he will be presented in court for prosecution.”
