On Tuesday September 25th, 2017; Ronaldo Marked his 400 games for Real Madrid. The 400 game came in Champions League against Dortmund. Since joying from Manchester United in what was seen as record transfer at that time. Ronald had made significant impact for Madrid scoring more than 400 goals, wining 3 Champions League and two La liga trophies among other club trophies and individuals honors.
Ronaldo also marked his 400 games with a brace against Dortmund in the second Champions League game of 2017/2018 season. The two brace takes Ronaldo total goals scored for Madrid to 411 in 400 games in what is seen as astonishing record by a player. CR7 as known in short, have made incredible records, breaking records which has fueled the debate between his fans and Lionel Messi fans who is the better player or the greatest player of all time.
In Spain, Ronaldo has won more than 13 trophies, including two La Liga titles, two Copa del Rey titles, three Champions League titles and two UEFA Super Cups. With more trophies to look forward to this year as Madrid will play International Club Cup around December and possibly January.
Whichever fan you are, you just have to appreciate the significant impact those two players (Ronaldo and Messi) has brought to the modern game of football. Entertaining us week in and week out, and their off the pitch contributions to charities have saved a lot of lives and they have been seen as ambassador for younger generations.
