Famed Nigerian actor and comedian, AY Makun, recently responded to critics of singer 2Face Idibia following his announcement about divorcing Annie.

He cautioned people against faulting couples whose relationships have ended.

In a message shared on X on Tuesday, AY emphasized that no one enters marriage intending to separate. He expressed concern over how “online in-laws” tend to publicly ridicule individuals when their marriages do not work out.

He urged for greater empathy towards couples facing divorce and highlighted the severity of the emotional toll, warning against actions that could lead individuals to self-harm.
