You won’t see Dog the Bounty Hunter put on a smile and pretend things have been easy after losing the love of his life. The star, who’s no stranger to teary-eyed interviews, told Entertainment Tonight that it’s been so rough he was “embarrassed to smile” in the midst of his grief, as if it was some sort of betrayal. The loneliness is what’s really devastating.
Dog claims he’s been more or less alone since his wife’s death, especially since his children are grown and out of the house. He was praying for someone to come along and help ease his pain, then … Moon Angell appeared. In an interview with Radar Online, he revealed that he asked “Almighty God” for a friend and God absolutely replied.
“Moon has been a trustworthy and loyal friend to me for over 20 years. She has been with my family through many ups and downs,” Dog told Radar Online, adding, “Moon is experienced. It’s just that. Who knows what my future holds, but right now I need her. There will never be another Mrs. Dog but that doesn’t mean I have to be so sad.”
Moon has been Dog’s rock through the worst time of his life, but his daughters still seem skeptical about their family friend’s motives.
