Beyoncé was dubbed “the queen” of pop by Shakira.
She mentioned how much Beyoncé had accomplished for women in general and women of colour in the US and throughout the world.
In the most recent episode of her Apple Music programme Shakira Radio Station, the “Hips Don’t Lie” crooner made a statement.
“She [Beyoncé’] is the queen. I mean, this is just so incredible, what she does for minorities in the US and around the world, what she’s done for women of color, what she’s done for women in general. The purpose that her life and her music has, it’s undeniable and it’s of a great magnitude,” she said.
Shakira and Beyoncé collaborated on the hit song ‘Beautiful Liar’ back in 2006.
