Lagos School Allegedly Expels Student for Having Peter Obi Sticker on Bag

Outrage has been sparked after a junior secondary school student in Epe, Lagos was reportedly sent home with an exeat note due to her bag having a sticker of the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi. Barinada Marvellous was allegedly given the note, which was purportedly signed by the school’s principal, stating that she was sent away “to campaign for Peter Obi against the wish of Lagosians”. People claiming to be familiar with the situation have taken to Twitter to express their outrage.
