BREAKING: The FG Department has given a new update on the planned removal of the petrol subsidy.

The minister said that the committee is also to be composed of representatives from the private sector, the state governors, and the incoming administration.

The clarification comes after the government was asked by the opposition in the National Assembly to clarify its position on the removal of the fuel subsidy.
