Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, who leads the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), has stated that while the devil may be intimidated by prayers, he does not fear individuals who are financially struggling.
During a sermon, he highlighted the need to achieve financial well-being alongside spiritual development.
He shared an illustrative tale of a gospel preacher who was dismissed by someone who criticized his appearance, questioning, “Has God helped you? Look at the way you look.”
This story underscored Fatoyinbo’s message about the significance of financial health, saying, “The devil prefers for individuals to remain stagnant and merely make noise, despite the fact that Jesus sacrificed his wealth for our benefit so that we can prosper through God’s grace.”
He encouraged his congregation to pursue both spiritual enrichment and material success, as he believes that wealth can greatly assist in effectively sharing the gospel.
