Ariana Grande Unveils Exciting Career Insights at the Golden Globe Awards

Ariana Grande gives major career revelation at Golden Globe

Ariana Grande has announced that she will be releasing additional music from her upcoming album, Eternal Sunshine, during her appearance at the Golden Globes, where she celebrated her role in the hit film Wicked, where she portrayed Galinda Upland, directed by Jon M. Chu.

The talented singer from Florida showcased her vocal abilities in this production, which grossed $681 million and is inspired by The Wizard of Oz by Frank Baum. She received acclaim for her performance alongside Cynthia Erivo and earned a nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the Golden Globes.

With the positive feedback from the movie, the Thank U Next artist is also eager to continue her musical journey following the launch of Eternal Sunshine in March 2024. However, she isn’t currently in the studio and has explained her plans.

“[New music] isn’t my focus at this moment,” Grande shared with reporters while on the red carpet. “But I created something last year that will be released eventually.”

“It’s an extension of Eternal Sunshine, so that will come out at some point. But I’m not in the studio right now.”

Fans were ecstatic about the announcement and took to X.com (formerly Twitter) to discuss the exciting news about additional tracks for the album, which Rolling Stone rated five stars, calling it an “instant classic.”

One user commented, “Forget the Golden Globes, we’re getting a deluxe version – we won!”

Another added, “‘That will come out at some point’ – no, we need a release date right now.”

A third user exclaimed, “OMG WE WONNNNN.”

Is a Wicked 2 in the works?

For fans who adored the film, there’s great news: a sequel titled Wicked: For Good is planned for release on November 21, 2025, barring any setbacks.

There’s also potential for more films, as Stephen Schwartz and Winnie Holzman have hinted at discussing additional projects, although they stopped short of confirming new sequels to Wicked: For Good.
