Reno Omokri, a former aide of President Goodluck Jonathan has returned to Nigeria.
Omokri has been out of the country since the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) took over power in 2015.
Omokri, who is known as a staunch critic of the immediate past president, Muhammadu Buhari, however, confirmed his return to Nigeria today by sharing a video clip showing himself having a handshake with his former principal, Jonathan on Instagram.
“Earlier Today, I Received A Presidential Welcome To Nigeria,” Omokri wrote.
In another video, Omokri was seen having a handshake with the incumbent National Security Adviser under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Nuhu Ribadu.
“Niger Coup: I Stand Fully and Unequivocally With Nigeria’s Position,” Omokri captioned the video with Ribadu.
