Nigerian actress Iyabo Ojo has fiercely responded to social media commentator Martins Otse, known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), following his serious claims about her in a widely shared video. These allegations included accusations of infidelity and accepting bribes.
In a detailed post on Instagram, Iyabo expressed concern for VDM’s difficult upbringing, which she believes has led to his unhealthy behavior.
She emphasized that VDM grew up in a home that lacked love and stability, leaving him with unresolved resentment and suffering.
Iyabo questioned VDM’s mother’s parenting, asking why she didn’t provide more guidance and support during his childhood.
She also criticized VDM’s mother for relying on her former partner and not ensuring her children’s well-being.
The actress encouraged VDM to let go of his resentment towards his parents and seek inner peace instead of directing negativity at others.
Iyabo Ojo’s remarks followed VDM’s claims about her, including a controversial assertion regarding a threesome involving her daughter and a demand for N65 million to pursue justice for the late artist Mohbad.
In her post, she remarked:
“Vincent, I empathize with your situation, and it’s truly unfortunate. Your past seems to have been devoid of love and care, which has manifested in your toxic behavior stemming from unresolved pain from your upbringing.
“Rather than targeting those who have succeeded, you seem to have redirected your anger at innocent individuals. Your experiences, including struggling for food and near-lynching in your youth, are heartbreaking. Why was your childhood so harsh? Mama Vincent, why didn’t you provide more for him?
“Vincent, this unresolved trauma has twisted you into a manipulative and toxic individual who damages others’ reputations just to gain attention. The blame lies with your parents, not with Paulo, Mama Festus, Priscilla, or me.
“Your fixation on me indicates that I am constantly on your mind. If that gives you comfort, so be it, but I urge you to forgive your parents to truly find peace in your heart.”
