Ibrahim Chatta’s Reaction to AMVCA Loss

Nigerian veteran actor Ibrahim Chatta recently commented on his loss at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA).

Chatta was in the running for Best Lead Actor for his performance in ‘House of GAA’, but the award went to Femi Adebayo for his role in ‘Seven Doors’.

During his guest appearance on the podcast ‘Curiosity Made Me Ask’, he expressed indifference towards the AMVCA award after his nomination.

The host, Isbae U, asked, “Do you think you’re not recognized for your work? Don’t you hope to win the AMVCA?”

Chatta simply responded, “I’m not interested.”

The 11th AMVCA ceremony took place in Lagos on Saturday night.
