Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan made her entrance to the Federal High Court in Abuja in preparation for the proceedings regarding claims made by Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
On Tuesday, she appeared to present her perspective following allegations of violating a court directive.
Justice Binta Nyako had scheduled today’s hearing for the contempt allegations put forth by the Senate president against Akpoti-Uduaghan.
Justice Nyako also indicated she would address the prior contempt allegation filed by Natasha against Akpabio, the Senate, and others regarding claims of non-compliance with a previous court ruling.
At the continuation of the hearing on Monday, Senator Natasha’s attorneys, under the direction of Jibrin Okutekpa, reiterated to the court that the matter was set for hearing as previously rescheduled.
He mentioned that the court had instructed the involved parties to submit appropriate documents, which had been completed, and they were prepared to proceed with the case.
